Class of 1965 55th Reunion

Hard to believe it's been nearly five years since our 50th reunion. What a memorable weekend that was; enjoying fun and fellowship with our classmates. Some favorite events that weekend include the Class of '65 dinner at the Athenaeum where we indulged in great company, fabulous food, and the unscheduled panel of Vietnam veterans from our class (Dean Davidge, Jim Pignatelli, Keith Nightingale, and Dan Baker) hosted by the ROTC. A memorable, but not-to-be-repeated event was the arrival of two paramedic units at our Thursday dinner in the Village. In the end, all was well but not a great way to start the weekend.

Our 55th reunion is scheduled for the weekend of April 23rd to 26th and your reunion committee hopes to make it as memorable as the 50th. We welcome suggestions from you, or better yet, join the committee and give your input. We are considering asking Keith Nightingale to lead a discussion of his recent book, Another Day in Vietnam, a panel discussion of lessons learned by several world-traveling classmates, or a panel sharing ways to keep our brains engaged in retirement.

Don’t miss the fun in April! The reunion registration packet is in the mail and, when it arrives, please register promptly, so we know you are attending. After registering you can take advantage of special pricing for rooms at the Claremont DoubleTree by Hilton just west of Indian Hill Boulevard on Foothill Boulevard. Access to the DoubleTree is a big plus for our class because of its promixity to the campus.

To register for Alumni Weekend, please visit www.cmc.edu/alumniweekend. You may also register by calling the Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement at 909.621.8097.

We look forward to seeing you back in Claremont soon.

All the best,
