Homes Open From 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Claremont, CA 91711
Join members of the Inland Empire CMC community on this historical home tour in Claremont. For forty years, Claremont Heritage, a non-profit organization formed in 1976 by citizens of Claremont, has showcased and helped preserve the historical architecture of the City of Trees and PhDs. This year's tour, called HOME AGAIN, will showcase unique private residences not usually open to the public.
We are delighted to share that the McKenna House, boyhood home of Donald McKenna, CMC's first donor and founding trustee, is featured on the tour and boasts many original details from its first owners. The home is now owned by Kenneth Miller, CMC’s Rose Professor of State and Local Government & Director of the Rose Institute, and his wife, Kimberly.
We hope you will join us on this memorable walk through history.
$30 per person - Includes a CMC discounted ticket with a docent-led tour of six historic homes, plus a virtual tour of the Sumner House, home of Founding President George C.S. Benson’s grandparents, as well as a $5 donation to student scholarships.
Tours are at your own leisure. The homes close promptly at 4pm. It is suggested that you allow up to two hours to view all six homes.
