Gather with the New York Chapter alumni, parents, and friends for an evening at the NewFest Festival in New York. Founded in 1988, NewFest is New York's premier LGBTQ+ film exhibition event. This year, the festival will feature a film by CMCers Michael Karp '06 and Ramón Torres '08 entitled Last Ferry. Before the film, join alumni and parents for a reception at The Chelsea Bell and meet the cast and crew.

Joseph, a young lawyer from Harlem travels to Fire Island to seek romance and community. Unfortunately, it’s April and the island is void of activity. As Joseph wanders the island, he meets a handsome stranger. In a quick turn of events, the stranger drugs and steals Joseph’s belongings, and in his impaired state, Joseph witnesses a homicide. A good Samaritan helps him to safety but he soon discovers things are not what they seem.
