With the holidays right around the corner, what better way to wow your family than with knowledge of some of Australia's finest wines—particularly those produced in the sunny, California-esque state of South Australia?

Join sommelier and Assistant Vice President for Alumni and Parent Engagement Evan Rutter '06, wine writer and Meyer Family Cellars' National Sales Manager Tony Poer '90, and Australian wine authority and proprietor of Vinroads Consultants Adam "Chuck" Hayward '78, as they lead us through a guided wine tasting and discussion of the Australian wine business, its vibrant culture Down Under, and its relationship to the California wine industry.

The Alumni Association will also welcome special guest Leon Bignell, Member of Parliament for South Australia and a wine industry expert. Whether you consider your palate robust or budding, this exciting virtual session will have something for everyone. The only requirement? That you come ready to learn, have fun, and connect with the CMC community over some delicious wines! Upon registering, the wines selected by Chuck—a white and two reds from the dynamic Coonawarra, Barossa, and Clare Valley regions—will be shipped to all participants in the United States. Those outside of the U.S. will be able to purchase the wines themselves.

Old Bridge Cellars will ship the wines directly to those who sign up. Please note that we cannot ship to a PO Box, or any of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Utah. A signature is required to receive the wines.
