Prof. Jennifer Feitosa has joined an elite cadre, having recently been recognized with a prestigious U.S. Scholar Fulbright grant. CMC was also named a Top Fulbright Producer for Students with four CMCers earning Fulbright grants this academic year.

Dr. Fiona Hill, a leading expert on Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia, engaged a packed audience at the Athenaeum recently, addressing the theme of “Unity and Division” as part of CMC’s 75^th Anniversary Distinguished Speaker Series.

An Environmental Analysis major, Wali Shaikh ’24 was drawn to CMC by its liberal arts focus and small class size. He also wanted to explore many subjects. He had an “invaluable experience” in that realm interning at Kounkuey Design Initiative.

Sixteen CMC alumni joined the Roberts Environmental Center’s 8^th Annual Green Careers Conference to offer encouraging news for students pursuing environmentally focused professions. “We can’t hire fast enough,” said Katie Browning ’13, a consultant with Schneider Electric.

Frank Applebaum ’24 became the first CMS swimmer to win a national championship in six years, when he captured first place in the 200-yard butterfly in a new Division III record time of 1:44.01 at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis. The Stags overall earned an eighth-place team finish.
