CMC’s 75th Anniversary Year Comes to a Close

A year ago, we celebrated our past and launched our future. In celebration of CMC’s 1946 founding and all of the leadership that has driven our steep trajectory as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the nation, we hosted engaging festivities and simultaneously celebrated several major achievements that will drive even greater impact for many years to come.

In the fall, we announced the new, iconic Robert Day Sciences Center, as the home to the new Kravis Department of Integrated Sciences, announced in February. Then we revealed our plans for the expanded Roberts Campus.

We also attained recognition from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), ranking first in free expression and from Forbes, earning an A+ and ranking first in financial strength.

Finally, in realizing the full promise of our CMC Strategy, we announced our record-breaking progress in the Campaign for CMC: Responsible Leadership, in partnership with 11,000 donors, at a year-end total of more than $924M raised.

Read more about how—while celebrating our past—we’ve forged the path to an increasingly successful future.
