Members of the CMC community gathered on campus to remember and celebrate Ward Elliott, the beloved professor who inspired the minds and spirits of generations of students through his teaching, mentorship, and sing-along parties.

CMS’s swimming and diving teams swept SCIAC championships, with the men's swimming and diving team winning its 40^th conference championship, and the women's swimming and diving team winning its 20^th.

To showcase the breadth of fields available to students seeking climate-related professions, the Roberts Environmental Center hosted the 9th Annual Green Careers Conference on campus with presentations from CMC alumni.

Twelve CMCers recently spent part of their winter break exploring Thailand, gaining firsthand knowledge from Thai scholars and experts during in-depth meetings that covered topics from economic development to foreign policy.

CMC launched a new campus initiative this spring with Peer Health Ambassadors offering daily doses of helpful advice, as well as hosting wellness-related workshops and events to cultivate a healthy culture. “We want to increase health positivity on our campus,” said Dianna “DT” Graves ’98, dean of students.

CMC’s Mock Trial “A-Team” went 7–1 at the American Mock Trial Association regionals, placing second overall. The performance earned a bid to the Opening Round Championship Series in March. While the kudos are gratifying, the team remains most proud of creating a culture of community and friendship.

CMC Prof. Lisa Cody recently led an Athenaeum discussion tracing the history of reproductive healthcare through 20^th century popular media, including films and TV shows.

Committed to investing in people and solutions driving climate progress, Tom Steyer spoke at the Athenaeum sharing his thoughts and solutions in the renewable energy space that could define the climate transition and reshape the global economy.

Throughout his two-decade career with the Dodgers, Scott Akasaki ’98 has collected a wide array of Major League memories. Akasaki, together with colleagues Emilee Fragapane and Michael Voltmer, spoke at the Athenaeum about how the game has changed as they reflected on their careers in the front offices of professional baseball.

Tom Linebarger ’86 shared his leadership lessons in a recent talk at the Athenaeum including living a purpose-driven life. “When I tell somebody that I'm scared or worried, they actually think I'm a better leader, not worse, which was, of course, not intuitive to me,” he said.

Senior guard Josh Angle ’23 of the CMS men’s basketball team was named to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week on Feb. 7 after averaging 29 points in two Stag wins, and then went over 1,000 career points one day later in an 87–54 win over Chapman.
