A Warm Welcome to Our New CMCers!

A Warm Welcome to Our New CMCers!

Nearly 350 new students—many with help from their families and friends—arrived to campus this month, engaging in Orientation activities, including campus tours, bonding with First-Year Guides, and the Convocation ceremony. CMC staff and faculty led a warm welcome and introduction to the College’s mission to prepare students for thoughtful and productive lives and responsible leadership in business, government, and the professions. “There are a lot of emotions that go into these initial moments at CMC. Yes, it will be challenging and academically rigorous here, but our goal is to let students know they are more than capable of succeeding—and there are so many people at CMC who will help them along the way!” said MaryKate Jacobs, assistant dean of student engagement.
