Experiencing CMC at Family Weekend

More than 900 parents and family members flocked to campus in February to experience Claremont McKenna College through the eyes of their students. Family members and friends enjoyed the opportunity to see faculty in action, hear President Hiram Chodosh review the College’s achievements and aspirations, and discover the programs that make CMC unique.

Families spent time together sampling a wide array of engaging activities, which included gaining an overview of the valuable services provided by the Soll Center for Student Opportunity, learning more about The Open Academy and its impact on our campus community from the program’s inaugural co-directors, Professors Heather Ferguson and Jon Shields, and joining Dr. Laura Catena P'24 for an enlightening Athenaeum discussion.

Family members departed the weekend with a deeper understanding of the power of the CMC community, as well as their beloved CMCer’s life on campus.
