The College has been named a Top Producing Institution of Fulbright U.S. Students for 2020-21, a recognition of outstanding academic achievement and engagement with the world at large.

CMC Prof. Heather Antecol, a distinguished economics scholar, is CMC’s new Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. “I am thrilled that Heather is taking on this key leadership role at such an exciting, important time,” said President Hiram Chodosh.

Richard Lowry, editor of National Review, discussed the post-Trump Republican Party and how Americans should navigate the current political and cultural landscape. “We need to engage with each other in a civil manner,” he said at the recent Ath event.

Collaboration between faculty, staff, and students is fundamental to CMC’s sustainability effort, says Kristin Miller, CMC’s Sustainability Coordinator. “Through teaching and research, we can do things as an institution of higher education to play a key role,” says Miller.

John Snider ’77 was one of two in his high school's graduating class to attend college. Today, he credits his Claremont McKenna College experience with opening up unimagined possibilities. “CMC changed my life,” he says.

CMC’s Board of Trustees recently appointed Thomas C. Leppert ’77 a life trustee. Leppert, who served as mayor of Dallas from 2007-2011, was a Claremont McKenna trustee for more than two decades. He boasts a distinguished career in business and government.

For Women’s History Month, CMC Conversations featured a lively discussion between History Prof. Lisa Cody and Mimi Thompson ’21. Cody incorporates engaging projects that provide perspective into what life was like for women in the 18^th century. We hope you enjoy watching!
