A Transformational Program:
Integrated Sciences

The College’s conceptual plans for a new integrated sciences program—a seminal investment and commitment that infuses science and computation deep into the fabric of the CMC liberal arts and leadership mission—was recently introduced to the CMC community by President Hiram Chodosh.

Rooted in The CMC Strategy, approved by the Board of Trustees in April 2019, the new department will focus on three grand socio-scientific challenges, integrate and expand the sciences, including computer and data science, and build close collaborations with CMC departments and programs in the social sciences and the humanities. The stunning architecture will provide a third iconic center for the CMC community and facilitate collaborative learning and research across disciplines for students and faculty.
