The following reaction from Professor Jack Pitney to Wednesday's gubernatorial debate was named Quote of the Day by Associated Press: "McClintock was the class nerd and Schwarzenegger was the class jock with the smart mouth. And usually it's the class jock with the smart mouth that wins the election . . . And I say that having been the class nerd."
