Aseema Sinha, Wagener Family Professor of Comparative Politics and George R. Roberts Fellow, published a chapter in the book, International Organizations and Peaceful Change in World Politics,edited by T. V. Paul, Anders Wivel, and Kai He (Cambridge University Press, 2025). In the chapter, titled “The ‘Crisis of Success’ and Peaceful Change at the WTO and within the Global Trading System,” Sinha addresses the puzzling trade-governance deadlock, exploring factors and mechanisms underpinning the paradox of triumphs in global trade governance resulting in conditions of conflict and crisis. Sinha also co-published the lead essay “Analyzing the Diversity of a Large Emerging Market: Sectoral Politics in India’s Multi-Level Political Economy,” in Studies in Comparative International Development—Special Issue: The Politics of Economic Development in India: Sectors in a Multilevel Framework, which she co-edited.
