- The Investiture Ceremony is open to all members of the community, though registration is appreciated.
- Seating is available on a first-come basis.
- The marquee will open at 12 p.m. for guest seating, and we request that all guests be seated no later than 12:50 p.m. in preparation for the processional.
- The Investiture Ceremony will be livestreamed, and the link will be available on the Claremont McKenna College homepage on Saturday, November 7.

As the ceremony will be held outdoors under a tent, please keep in mind the changing temperature when selecting your attire. You may also want to wear shoes appropriate for walking on grass. It could be chilly in the morning and in the shade and then warmer in the afternoon. Layering, sunblock, and hats are all good choices. Click here for our local weather forecast.
- Wheelchair seating is available at the Investiture Ceremony, with one companion seat. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please note that due to liability restrictions, College personnel driving electric carts on campus are not permitted to offer rides to any guests.
- Disability Parking and Drop-off: Guests with limited mobility or other assistance needs may be dropped off at Bauer Center (500 E. Ninth Street) or the loading zone just west of Roberts Pavilion (Sixth Street & Mills Avenue). Both drop-off areas require a short 5-minute walk to Parents Field.

By Car
From the Los Angeles area
Take the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) to Indian Hill Boulevard (exit 457). Drive north on Indian Hill for about two miles. Turn right onto Foothill Boulevard. Turn right onto Claremont Boulevard, which will be the third stoplight you encounter. Turn left at the Ninth Street light into the Sports Bowl Parking Structure (752 N Claremont Blvd).
From Pasadena and the San Fernando Valley
Take the Foothill Freeway (I-210) east. Exit at Towne Avenue and drive south for one mile. At Foothill Boulevard turn left onto Foothill Boulevard and continue approximately two miles to Claremont Boulevard, which will be the third stoplight you encounter after passing Indian Hill Boulevard. Turn right onto Claremont Boulevard. Turn left at the Ninth Street light into the Sports Bowl Parking Structure (752 N Claremont Blvd).
From Orange County
Take the Orange Freeway (I-57) north to the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10). Continue east on I-10 to Indian Hill Boulevard (exit 457). Drive north on Indian Hill for about two miles. Turn right onto Foothill Boulevard. Turn right onto Claremont Boulevard, which will be the third stoplight you encounter. Turn left at the Ninth Street light into the Sports Bowl Parking Structure (752 N Claremont Blvd).
By Air
Claremont is located about ten miles west of the Ontario International Airport. Los Angeles International Airport is approximately 50 miles west of Claremont.
By Train
The closest Amtrak station is in Pomona, a few miles from the campus. Claremont is served from Los Angeles by Metrolink. The station is ten blocks south of campus.
Parking
Parking for Inauguration events is available in the Sports Bowl Parking Structure. The entrance is located at the light on Ninth Street and Claremont Boulevard. Please use the posted gate code to access the parking structure. The address for the Sports Bowl Parking Structure is 752 N Claremont Blvd. A sign will be displayed with the entry/exit PIN number for guests to use.
Disability Parking and Drop-off
Guests with limited mobility or other assistance needs may be dropped off at Bauer Center (500 E. Ninth Street) or the loading zone just west of Roberts Pavilion (Sixth Street & Mills Avenue) at the bollards. Both drop-off areas require a short 5-minute walk to Parents Field. Drivers are encouraged to park at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center parking lot.
Claremont McKenna College reserves the right to search any persons or person’s property on the premises.
Professional photography and video recording may occur during all official events. Guests may appear in photographs and video, including live streaming video, used by Claremont McKenna College for promotional purposes, including the official College website.
