    Join Nyree Gray, Vice President of Human Relations and Chief Diversity Officer, and Tamara Venit-Shelton, Ph.D., Professor of History, as they discuss the Presidential Initiative and how CMC is developing a long-term, structural, integrated educational response to racism, inequality, and inequity.

Join Clemente Jimenez, Associate Vice President of Finance, for a discussion on how the College sustains operations and allocates resources to optimize academic and campus life. Come prepared with your questions as we delve into the financial backbone of higher ed and the impact of prudent endowment investments on the college experience.
  • Real Estate Capital Markets Outlook

    Join the Financial Economics Institute’s guest Speaker, Sean Rawson ’00, Co-Founder of Waterford Property Company, for his overview of the market and how Waterford Property Company operates.

  • Harnessing the Power of the CMC Community: How to Help Students who Reach Out for Career Advice

    The Soll Center for Student Opportunity encourages all students to build professional connections within the CMC Community as one of the best ways to prepare for internship and job recruitment. Many students find this process intimidating and difficult to navigate. Join Ursula Diamond, Director of Student Opportunities, Amy Flanagan '11, Director of Robert Day Scholars and Scholar Communities, Marshall Ozawa ’86, Managing Director of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, and select CMC students as they explore some of the reasons why students hesitate to reach out for help, what recruitment challenges students are facing, and how to use narrative storytelling as a key way for students to build their confidence.
  • Scotch, Chocolate, and Giving

    The Office of Admission is already hard at work recruiting a diverse, increasingly talented, and energetic group of students for the Class of 2028! Many of them have begun the application process and are eager to be interviewed by alumni like you and show you how they can contribute to CMC. Alumni interviewers are invited to join Edna Elnar-Wicker of the Office of Admission and share their experiences for an interactive training session on the Alumni Interviewer Program. Discussion will include an overview of the program, suggestions for conducting an interview with a prospective student, dos and don'ts of the interview process, advice on writing the interview evaluation report, and much more. With your help, the Admission Committee will obtain a fuller picture of the student and be better able to select the most suitable applicants.
  • Spread the Word for CMC: Communicating Liberal Arts and the CMC Advantage

    As one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country, CMC’s distinctive approach provides a superior education and prepares students for thoughtful and productive lives and responsible leadership in business, the professions, and government.
