For almost 40 years, students, faculty, and staff have enjoyed the daily ritual of stopping by the Athenaeum, the cultural heart of the CMC community, to grab a cup of tea, a cookie, or the hands-down favorite: Rice Krispies treats. In addition to sweet treats, "Ath Tea" goers enjoy the opportunity to relax and chat on a variety of topics. Join Athenaeum Director Priya Junnar and CMC Ambassador-at-Large John Faranda ’79 for this long-standing CMC tradition and meet families from all over the globe for a discussion on culinary traditions that unite us. Learn more about how “breaking bread” together at the Athenaeum has shaped the CMC experience for our community. Join the conversation and share special recipes and traditions from your region, and perhaps earn a feature on the Athenaeum Instagram! Each family registered will receive a box with a special edition Athenaeum cookbook, two Rice Krispies treats, and some delicious tea to brew and enjoy over engaging conversation. Please note we can only ship the food items to domestic addresses. There is no charge for this event. Deadline to register is Wednesday, March 3.
